What to

Expect

We’re so glad you’re here. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or looking to get more connected, we want you to feel at home. At FBC Macclenny you’ll find a warm community, meaningful worship, and opportunities to grow in faith. Explore what makes us unique and discover how you can be part of our journey together!

Culture of the Church

We are a church that seeks to love Jesus, our people, and our community. We look to the Scriptures for truth and guidance. Our strategy for reaching this city and beyond is built on a 4G approach: gathering for worship; growing in faith; giving of time, talents, and treasures; and going on mission. There is a reason that this church feels like home.

What to Wear

Our congregation is made up of people from all walks of life and that means there is a variety of dress. You’ll find anything from shorts and flip flops to suits and dresses. We encourage you to come as you are most comfortable.

Children’s Programs

We have Sunday School programming at 9:30 for preschool, elementary, and students, and at 10:45 we have Children’s Church for K-5th grade.

Sermons

Pastor John seeks to preach the Scriptures focusing on their plain meaning and what can we do with what we have just learned.

Service Format

We sing songs, offer prayers, hear Scripture read and preached, and give our offerings and tithes. We gather at 10:45 each Sunday morning, and the typical service is about an hour in length.

Music

Our music team leads us to sing vibrant songs, both historic and modern, in a Christ-exalting way. We believe the voices of the congregation should be the primary instruments, and we work hard to encourage congregational singing.
